Position Overview:
The Quality & Accreditation Program Lead is responsible for ensuring that Senderra maintains full accreditation with URAC (Specialty and Mail Order), ACHC, and NABP’s Digital Pharmacy (VIPPS) and consistently operates at the highest quality and compliance standards. This director-level individual contributor role oversees cross-functional quality improvement initiatives, leads all accreditation and audit activities, and ensures that internal processes align with both regulatory requirements and operational best practices. The Program Lead acts as Senderra’s accreditation authority, working closely with operations, clinical, compliance, and executive leadership to drive sustained accreditation and continual improvement across the organization. This role may evolve into a team leadership position as quality and accreditation needs expand.
Education / Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or related field. Advanced credentials such as a PharmD or master's degree in a health field are a plus (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, pharmacy, or a related discipline. PharmD or Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in specialty or mail-order pharmacy, with at least 3 years of direct experience managing or coordinating accreditation programs (URAC, ACHC, VIPPS). Experience working across departments to meet audit or compliance goals is essential.

Accreditation Expertise: In-depth and practical knowledge of pharmacy accreditation programs, with a proven ability to lead organizations through successful surveys. Familiarity with the standards, documentation, and operational requirements of URAC (Specialty and Mail Order), ACHC, and NABP (VIPPS).

Operational Fluency: Comfort working across pharmacy operations, clinical programs, customer service, and IT to align processes with accreditation standards. Experience using pharmacy information systems to support quality workflows.

Project Leadership: Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects in a healthcare or pharmacy environment. Strong skills in planning, documentation, communication, and execution.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze operational, quality, and compliance data. Skilled in root cause analysis, trend identification, and metric-based improvement.

Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to translate complex standards into actionable guidance for team members. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, external auditors, and frontline staff alike.

Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working in document control platforms, LMS systems, and QMS tools. Familiarity with Senderra’s pharmacy operations systems is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Accreditation Oversight: Maintain active and continuous accreditation status with URAC, ACHC, and VIPPS for both specialty and mail-order pharmacy operations. Lead all accreditation and reaccreditation efforts, including the development of documentation, staff readiness, and survey preparation. Serve as the primary liaison with accrediting bodies.

Audit & Inspection Readiness: Ensure the organization is always in a state of readiness for scheduled and unannounced audits from accreditation organizations, payers, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies. Coordinate internal audit programs, manage document control, and lead cross-functional audit response efforts.

Policy & SOP Leadership: Own the lifecycle of quality and compliance-related policies, procedures, and SOPs. Ensure documentation reflects current accreditation standards, pharmacy practices, and legal requirements. Work with department leaders to operationalize documentation updates.

Quality Program Development: Design, implement, and refine Senderra’s Quality Management Program. Establish and track KPIs across accreditation domains (e.g., documentation, training, patient safety, operational performance), analyze trends, and identify opportunities for proactive improvement.

Cross-Functional Process Optimization: Partner with operational and clinical leaders to identify workflow inefficiencies or accreditation-related risks. Lead quality improvement projects that align pharmacy operations with accreditation standards while driving measurable efficiency and value.

Training & Competency: Oversee staff training programs related to accreditation, compliance, and quality. Develop onboarding content, annual refresher courses, and targeted education for new standards or audit findings. Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure documentation of completion.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the voice of accreditation and quality during vendor, payer, or manufacturer credentialing processes. Represent Senderra’s quality program during business reviews and external discussions. Collaborate with leadership to communicate progress and risks internally.

Governance & Committee Participation: Lead or co-lead Senderra’s internal Quality Management Committee. Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and represent accreditation initiatives within governance forums.

Documentation & Reporting: Own the documentation, submission, and archiving of materials related to accreditation and audits. Generate dashboards and written reports on quality performance, survey readiness, and improvement progress for internal and external stakeholders.

Future Team Development: As quality and accreditation functions expand, play a leading role in identifying the need for additional team resources and helping define future roles (e.g., Quality Specialist, Audit Coordinator). Provide guidance, mentorship, and structure for new team members.

Corporate Compliance Support: Collaborate with the corporate compliance officer/department to ensure all accreditation activities also meet corporate and regulatory compliance standards. Assist with any external audits or inspections (e.g. state board inspections, payer audits) and maintain documentation of training and compliance activities for reference.

Other Duties: Perform other projects and duties as assigned by leadership, such as supporting new service implementations or technology upgrades from a quality/compliance perspective. Ensure that quality improvement and accreditation efforts are continuously aligned with the company’s strategic goals of excellent patient care and efficient operations.

Location: Primary worksite at Senderra’s headquarters or designated administrative office. Some remote flexibility may be available depending on project needs.

Travel: Occasional travel (~10%) may be required for surveys, cross-site training, or industry events.

Supervisory Responsibility: None initially. Role may expand to include 1–2 direct reports as program scope grows.
