Payer Account Specialist
Position Overview:
Responsible for performing daily PBM account management activities to ensure successful implementation and ongoing performance.
Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Manager of Payer Accounts and Audits

Education / Licensing Requirements:
Pharmacy Technician and PTCB Certification required.
Experience Requirements:
1-2 years' specialty pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

Responds to day-to-day inquiries and service issues, analysis the issue and

provides a resolution.

Processes claims and assists members with copay enrollment, copay processing

and copay reporting to the payers.

Facilitates new members onboarding to Senderra.

Received or initiates drug access inquiries, pricing and addition of the drugs to the
-
contracts.

Compiles data requested by the payer to support payer issue inquiries.

Supplies Senderra drug access information and services available.

Investigates and resolves payer reimbursement issues.

Participates in staff meetings, conference calls, and other meetings, as needed.

Performs other incidental and related duties as required.
